Czech National Register of Space Objects
The Czech Republic is party to The Convention on Registration of Objects Launched into Outer Space from 1975. This convention is one of five international treaties related to the space activities and which were elaborated in the frame of the Committee on the Peaceful Use of Outer Space (UN COPUOS).
The Czech Republic, as a party to the Convention, shall maintain National register of Space Objects and furnish to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, as soon as practicable, the information concerning Space Object launched by the Czech Republic or by its legal predecessor or from its territory into Earth orbit or beyond.
The Czech National Register of Space Objects is maintained by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Czech Republic dated 5 May 2014.
