The Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics, Czech Technical University (IEAP CTU) was founded in 2002 as a scientific-academic unit of the CTU oriented towards fundamental experimental research in subatomic physics and the application of mastered methods in other scientific and technical fields of research. The experimental program is based on the development of progressive detection techniques and methods (pixel and strip semiconductor detectors, scintillation detectors, spectrometric and imaging systems, etc.) and their use in particle and nuclear physics. IEAP CTU developed several radiation monitors for space, for example REM units onboard ISS, SATRAM onboard Proba-V, HardPix onboard D-Orbit ION and planned missions onboard Gateway, ISS and more.
CAPABILITIES, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES:
- Miniature radiation monitor
- Neutron spectrometer for lunar water mapping
