V návaznosti na RFI kampaň ze začátku roku 2024 nyní Ministerstvo dopravy České republiky iniciovalo formální Výzvu k podávání návrhů (Call for Proposals), ve která mohou české akademické, průmyslové a další subjekty navrhnout aktivity k realizaci na Mezinárodní kosmické stanici (ISS).
Vlastní CFP kampaň je administrována Evropskou kosmickou agenturou (ESA) a byla otevřena 16. 9. 2024 na ESA Star portálu (pozor, bez přihlášení není dostupné kompletní zadávací dokumtace). Termín pro odevzdání návrhů je 11. 11. 2024 v 13:00 našeho času (ne o půlnoci).
Týden před otevřením Výzvy Ministerstvo dopravy uspořádalo Informační den. Během dopoledne účastníky seznámilo se záměrem a obsahem Výzvy, jejími omezeními, doporučeními, jak k ní přistupovat a kde se typicky dělají chyby (ESA má s podobnou výzvou zkušenosti ze Švédska a Polska). Odpoledne také bude příležitost konzultovat ideje se zaměstnanci ESA během cca desetiminutových face-to-face bloků.
Akce proběhla v angličtině, stejně jako CFP. Jsou k dispozici prezentace. Požádat o ně lze emailem na kim.johnson@mdcr.cz.

About face-to-face consultations
- 2 ESA representatives in both Group A and Group B
- 2 parallel sessions, there is no difference in ESA representation in groups A and B, they have the same expertise
- You can ask questions and request additional information during this consultation
- 10 minutes max is foreseen
- 1 meeting per entity, not per submitted idea
- i. In case a (different) partner participates in the meeting, then it can be in a different meeting
- ii. Different research groups within the same university/institute are treated as different entities, so you can request a meeting by research group (likewise in other organizations)
- You can request your 10-minute consultation meeting by emailing BOTH kim.johnson@esa.int and ondrej.rohlik@md.gov.cz. Timeslots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. - The schedule is subject to change depending on how the day goes. This might have a (small) influence on your booked timeslot
About company/institute presentation to the plenary
- In case you feel you have a particular technology, know-how, service (or similar) that could be useful for other participants and is relevant to this CFP, you can inform them in the afternoon
- 10 minutes max is foreseen
- You can ask for your 10-minute slot by emailing BOTH kim.johnson@esa.int and ondrej.rohlik@md.gov.cz, specifying what you wish to present. About company-to-company meetings
- We provide a specific room for meetings between companies/institutes/etc. where you can gather and discuss as needed. Despite this can surely be done offsite, we feel this might be useful onsite for immediate exchanges between participants.
